The UK credit card brand, Citi cards as part of the global financial provider Citigroup. Citigroup currently have around 200 million customer accounts spread over approximately 100 countries (Source About citi cards). Citi cards is a well established brand in the UK and is part of CitiFinicial Europe which is regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
As you would expect from such as large and established financial organisation, Citi Cards currently have three products which encompass the uk credit card market.
These are
- the Citi Platinum Visa Card -- this card is aimed at the potential customers with good credit ratings and a high income and has the lower interest rates of the citi cards. It also offers introductory offers on balance transfers and purchases.
- the Citi Classic Plus Card -- this card is similar to the Platinum card but has a higher APR, but has the same introductory offers on balance transfers and purchases.
- the Citi / AAdvantage Visa Gold Card -- this card is offered in conjuction with American Airlines and offers the opportunity to earn airmiles.

- No annual fee
- Free Online Fraud Gaurantee -- Protects against online fraud.
- Optional card protection plan plus -- protects against fraudulent use of cards if the card is lost or stolen. Also cancels old cards and orders replacements for a small annual fee.
