Halifax Credit Cards
The Halifax and the Bank Of Scotland merged in September 2001 to form the HBOS group. HBOS is the UK's largest mortgage provider and a leading provider in the credit card market. HBOS became the first banking organisation to challenge the big 4 clearing banks (Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds TSB and Natwest). The brand name Halifax remains and there is also the internet or phone branch - IF (Intelligent Finance).
However, we will only look at the Halifax branded credit cards here.
